She is Chief Editor of January Diaries a prominent lifestyle blog covering fashion, travel, music and film, most recently January was awarded in the 2017 My Deal Top 100 Australian Influencer Awards.
Additionally January is the Founder/CEO of ParlayMe – a PR platform for entrepreneurs, startups, founders, investors and business leaders. January is currently a Brand Ambassador for prominent international tech events such as UPRISE, Collision Conference and Propelify.
Previous to January Diaries and ParlayMe – she was Head of Biz Development for Broadstreet a corporate communications agency working with clients such as Pernod Ricard, BMW and Goldman Sachs. January was also previously Head of Business Development at Beverly Hills based entertainment agency Bemis Balkind and KO Creative; Marketing Director at commercial film and TV production company Luscious International; Account Director at numerous digital agencies and Marketing Manager for cable networks Syfy Channel and TV1.
January’s experience spans from representing and promoting award winning directors and producer teams across global commercial TV campaigns to launching branded entertainment and digital content divisions. Now in charge of her own online digital channels, January has no plan of slowing down anytime soon!
Supporting numerous global charity organizations is also priority to January and choosing the Children’s Tumor Foundation of Australia #Dare2Bare for Cupids fun run to help raise awareness for Neurofibromatosis, a debilitating condition that affects 1 in 2500 people was a decision made from the heart. January has a Masters in Media Practice majoring in Journalism from the University of Sydney and a combined BA in Media Arts and Production Communications and International Studies from The University of Technology, Sydney.
